Auchroisk 10 Year Old 2010 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. On March 3rd, 1969, Apollo 9 launched from the Kennedy Space Center. The first full flight of an Apollo spacecraft with both Lunar Module and Command and Service Module. To mark this occasion we have bottled a single first fill pedro ximenez sherry hogshead distilled in 2010 bottled April 2021. 306 numbered bottles exclusive to The Whisky Barrel. During the mission the two pilots photographed each other whilst performing extravehicular activity. Russell Schweickart, the first astronaut to wear a portable life support system, emerged from Lunar Module callsign ‘Spider’ proclaiming “Hey, this is like spectacular!” and performed the only spacewalk prior to an Apollo lunar landing.
