Lowrie’s Reserve Blended Whisky / Thompson Bros Blended Scotch Whisky

70cl / 45.7% / Thompson Bros – This is a small batch blended Scotch whisky from Thompsons Bros, that contains Strathclyde whisky distilled in 1994, as well as two barrels of 11-year-old Speyside malt and three hogsheads of heavily sherried blended Scotch whisky. Aromas of pear, fennel seed, buttered popcorn and honeycomb fill the nose, leading to notes of nougat, canned peaches and clove studded orange on the palate.
