Off the Cuffee Aqua Vitae
£60.95
50cl / 50% – If you’re interested in the history of whiskey this is the spirit for you. It is based on the first ever recorded recipe for aqua vitae, which was created by Richard Du Ledrede, the Bishop of Ossory, in around 1324. The recipe calls for a range of botanicals, making this spirit closer to bitters than what many might think of as whiskey. It was made using half malted barley and half unmalted barley and distilled in a pot still.
