75cl / 51% – Aged for four years in heavily-charred American oak and bottled in 2022 as part of Wilderness Trail’s Family Reserve range, this is a bracing rye whiskey with notes of liquorice and black pepper. The higher bottling proof brings a nice sense of texture that leads into a long finish with lingering vanilla, butter and notes of dry oak.
