70cl / 51.4% / Elixir Distillers – A 1998 Ardmore single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single hogshead before being bottled in February 2020 as part of its Whisky Trail Vintage Cars series. Aromas of salted caramel and vanilla ice cream, milk chocolate and beach bonfires fill the nose. The palate offers notes of mellow peat smoke, apples and pears, candied lemon peel and beach-side barbecues.
