Glen Garioch 10 Year Old / Reserve Casks – Parcel 9 Highland Whisky

70cl / 48% / Elixir Distillers – A 2012 Glen Garioch single malt from the Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks series, Parcel No.9, that was matured in a small batch of five barrels for a decade. Aromas of frangipane, buttery pastry, toasted almonds, rose water and toasted oak fill the nose, complemented by notes of chewy caramel, ripe peaches, oak spice, oat biscuits and milk chocolate throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
