70cl / 57% / Whisky Sponge – The first edition of Orkney Sponge is a 1998 Highland Park single malt, bottled by Whisky Sponge in 2022 after 23 years in a single refill hogshead. It has a surprisingly peaty character, reminiscent of old style Highland Park, with notes of dry, medicinal herbs, salty coastal air, driftwood and soft fruit throughout the palate.
